Overview of Building Blocks of Quranic Recitation Program

The Building Blocks of Quranic Recitation Program is designed to introduce young learners, aged 8-14, to the foundational principles of Quranic recitation. Through structured levels, the program equips students with the essential skills to master the Arabic alphabet, develop proficiency in Tajweed rules, and recite the Quran with accuracy, confidence, and proper etiquette.

The program is divided into four levels, starting from the basics of Arabic letters and vowels to intermediate Tajweed concepts. Each level builds on the previous one, ensuring a comprehensive and gradual learning experience. With a focus on revision and practice, students not only learn theoretical rules but also apply them to their Quranic recitation.

The Building Blocks of Quranic Recitation Program nurtures a love for the Quran while fostering discipline, precision, and mindfulness in its recitation.

We may have some scholarships (50% or 100%) available for students who can’t truly afford it in shaa Allah. You can apply for the scholarship when applying for the course. Sponsorship is not available for the 1-1 class.

Kindly note that subsequent payments after the initial payment is due at 1st of every month.

You can only make the next payment when your attendance and submission of assessments have been reviewed. 

This is done after every 4 weeks. All students must have at least 70% attendance on the live classes and assessments before you can proceed (Note that this has been automated, so the system automatically cancels your admission if you do not meet up). However, you can always re-register in another cohort or academic year.

The Tajweed Beginners Course Level  is a foundational course designed to introduce students to the basics of Arabic pronunciation and Quranic recitation. It focuses on building familiarity with the Arabic alphabet and spellings. Students will learn the 28 Arabic letters, their forms, and proper articulation points. 

The course includes hands-on practice to ensure that students apply these concepts effectively in their recitation. 

Who is it for?

  • Children aged 8-14 who are new to Quranic recitation or want to improve their understanding of the Arabic alphabet and pronunciation.
  • Students looking to build a strong foundation in Quranic recitation before progressing to advanced Tajweed rules.
  • Ideal for those with little to no prior knowledge of the Arabic alphabet or basic Quranic recitation techniques.

Prerequisites

  • No prior knowledge of Arabic or Tajweed is required.
  • A willingness to learn and engage in practical exercises.

A:  The course is a structured 16 weeks course.

Q2: Will my child learn to recite the Quran by the end of this course?
A: By the end of TBC, students will have a strong grasp of the Arabic alphabet and vowels. They will be ready to begin simple Quranic recitation.

Q3: Is this course only for children, or can adults join?
A: This course materials are designed for children aged 8-14, beginners of ages can benefit from the Building Blocks of Quranic  Recitation Program for Adults.

Q4: Does my child need to know Arabic to join?
A: No, this course starts with the basics and assumes no prior knowledge of Arabic.

Q5: How are the lessons taught?
A: Lessons are interactive and include visual aids, practice exercises, and recitation drills to ensure students engage and learn effectively. All classes are via google meet with cameras on.

This course deepens the students’ understanding by focusing on the detailed rules concerning Noon Saakinah and Tanween, as well as Meem Saakinah.

Students will apply these Tajweed rules practically through Qur’an reading sessions to reinforce their understanding.

Who is it for?

  • Children aged 8-14 who have completed Tajweed Level 1.

  • Learners who are comfortable with basic Tajweed and ready to move to the intermediate level.
